Booking Requests and Confirmations

Magic Slumber offers professionally styled sleepover rentals in Mid-Michigan. Guests must be at least 18 years old to make a booking, and the person making the booking must have authority to accept these terms.

Submitting a Request Your Date inquiry does not guarantee availability, hold a date, or create a paid reservation. We will review the request, confirm availability and event details with you, and send an invoice or payment instructions. Your booking becomes confirmed when Magic Slumber expressly accepts the reservation and receives any payment required to confirm it.

Packages, Extras, and Pricing

Sleepover packages are available for 2 to 6 setups, with the included items and theme options described on our website. Optional extras, such as snacks, keepsakes, painting, or spa experiences, are charged separately and may be priced per guest.

The final quote or invoice will identify your selected package, number of guests, extra services, delivery or travel fees, approved discount codes, applicable taxes, and total price. Photos illustrate styled examples; exact decor and small accessories may vary.

Payments and Deposits

Magic Slumber currently reviews requests and sends payment instructions or an invoice after confirming the details. Where a deposit or payment in full is required, the amount and deadline will be disclosed before you pay.

A date is not considered reserved until any required booking payment has been received and we have confirmed the reservation. Remaining balances, when applicable, must be paid by the deadline specified on your invoice or booking confirmation. Late payment may affect your reservation after reasonable notice.

Cancellations, Refunds, and Rescheduling

Cancellation, deposit refundability, and rescheduling conditions will be clearly stated in the booking quote, invoice, or written confirmation before payment. Those disclosed conditions will apply to your reservation, subject to applicable law.

Please send requests to cancel or reschedule to info@magicslumber.com as soon as possible. Rescheduled dates depend on availability and our written agreement. If Magic Slumber cannot provide a confirmed service and no suitable alternative is accepted, we will refund payments for the canceled service.

No deposit or payment will be treated as nonrefundable unless that condition was communicated before payment and is permitted by applicable law.

Delivery, Setup, and Pickup

Our standard packages include delivery, professional styling and setup, and scheduled collection of rental items. If a location falls outside our normal service area, any additional travel fee will be included in your quote before confirmation.

We coordinate setup and pickup windows ahead of time. A responsible adult must be present to provide access and confirm the space is ready. Our team will return at the agreed pickup time, normally the following day. Delays or changes should be communicated promptly.

Preparing Your Space

Please provide a clean, dry, safe indoor area with sufficient open floor space for the confirmed setup. Before our arrival, clear the area of furniture, toys, food, and other obstacles. Provide appropriate electrical access if requested and ensure normal access through doors and walkways.

Customers are responsible for keeping pets away while equipment is being installed or removed and for maintaining a smoke-free environment around rental items. We do not include furniture moving, deep cleaning, or room preparation. If the requested area is unsuitable or unsafe, we may adjust or decline the setup and work with you on a reasonable alternative where possible.

Rental Equipment and Damage

Unless described as a take-home gift or disposable item, all tents, mattresses, bedding, lanterns, trays, decor, and related equipment remain Magic Slumber property. Please do not remove, dismantle, modify, or use equipment outside its intended purpose.

Ordinary wear from proper use is expected. The booking customer may be responsible for reasonable and documented cleaning, repair, or replacement costs for damage beyond normal wear, including damage caused by guests, pets, or misuse. We will explain any claimed charges and their basis rather than automatically billing an unapproved amount.

Adult Supervision and Safety

Magic Slumber does not provide childcare, babysitting, overnight supervision, or medical services. The parent, guardian, or event host remains responsible for supervising children throughout the event.

Our floor sleeping setups and decorative teepees should be used only as intended. Do not allow children to climb, hang from, jump on, or pull down tent frames, lights, lanterns, or accessories. Keep walkways, exits, heating equipment, and electrical outlets clear. These setups are not intended for infants. Stop using an item if it appears damaged or unsafe, and let us know promptly.

Food, Allergies, and Optional Experiences

Our optional snacks, painting supplies, cosmetics, facial products, or keepsakes may contain ingredients or materials that are unsuitable for some guests. Please tell us about relevant allergies and product sensitivities before confirming the reservation, and independently review ingredient and product labels before use.

We cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment or eliminate all risk of cross-contact. Adults must supervise food consumption and activities such as painting and spa treatments, decide whether products are appropriate for each child, and obtain permission from participating children’s parents or guardians when necessary.

Where a spa experience is selected, the customer provides an appropriate table and chairs, as stated in the package description.

Photography and Privacy

We may take photographs of finished decor and rental setups for documentation or our portfolio. We will not intentionally publish identifiable children or guests for advertising without appropriate permission. Your personal information is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

Substitutions and Changes

Small variations in accent pieces, decorative items, or product brands may occur based on inventory and availability. We may substitute comparable items while keeping the overall theme, function, and value of your selected package. Material package changes will be discussed with you.

If you request additional services or changes after confirmation, any additional cost will be quoted for approval before it is charged.

Weather, Emergencies, and Circumstances Beyond Our Control

Severe weather, unsafe travel, emergencies, significant equipment issues, or other circumstances beyond reasonable control can affect service. We will communicate as promptly as practical and work to reschedule or provide another reasonable solution. If we cannot provide the confirmed service and no acceptable alternative is agreed, payments attributable to that service will be refunded, subject to applicable law.

Responsibility and Liability

Customers and event hosts agree to follow instructions, maintain a safe environment, and supervise participating guests. To the extent permitted by law, Magic Slumber is not responsible for harm caused solely by misuse of equipment, inadequate supervision, or hazards not created by Magic Slumber.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including rights or protections available under applicable Michigan law. These Terms do not attempt to waive a child’s legal rights or excuse negligence where prohibited by law.

Website Content and Intellectual Property

We strive to keep our descriptions, photos, pricing, and other site information accurate. Photographs are illustrative and room layouts may differ from the examples shown. Magic Slumber brand assets and original website content may not be commercially reproduced without permission, except as permitted by law.

Governing Law and Changes to Terms

These Terms are governed by Michigan law, subject to applicable consumer protection rights. We may revise website terms as our business evolves, but updates will not retroactively change the material terms of an already confirmed booking unless both parties agree or the law requires otherwise.
